not sure to go to ER?!

Sorry I know I've been posting a lot these past few weeks, but I have a question. I was at the er yesterday because I was having severe abdominal pain. First they thought it was an ovarian cyst because of my history, so I had bloodwork done, and an ultra sound done, but everything was normal. But I was in a lot of pain and they said the next step was to get a cat scan. Well now I was there for about 5 hours and my mom and I had had it, so we went home against doctors orders, but they said if it got worse or something else was wrong to come back. Well it went away during the night, but now its starting to come back slowly. I am home alone and not sure what to do. Its not like it was yesterday where I could barely stand it, yesterday on a scale from 1-10 it was a 9. Today it is probably a 5 or 6. And now if i push on my stomach where my appendix is, it hurts pretty bad. Should I go back or just hold off for a while to see if it goes away?

When in doubt - go back!  It could be your appendix.
