numbness/pain in thighs and bruising

I am a 40 year old female. I have been experiencing numbness and tingling on my thighs when I am sitting or laying. It wakes me up with sharp pains too. Last night I woke with a sharp pain in my left thigh and this morning there was a bruise in the area of the pain. I have always been an easy bruiser but this has me worried. Should I see a doctor?

You should absolutely see a doctor.  I'm not a doctor myself but I would think that any pain that results in brusing should be checked out.  I hope it all goes well.
