Actually from my own personal experience with a cyst, that feeling of your insides trying to pull out can be from constipation and you can have constipation as an effect from the cyst but you could just have it. Tell your doctor exactly how you feel. Some people just have the cyst removed, some cysts are types that go away, some can be treated with birth control pills, and yes some can cause pain which a good Dr. would reccommend removal if it is causing horrible pain. I had a strange type of cyst removed but I am not going to get into that with you. I have also had normal cysts called follicular which go away with your period. now if your ultrasound shows a larger cyst , it is wise to have another ultrasound before taking any drastic measures, I had mine three weeks later which was one Menstrual cycle later so they can be sure it is still there or would it go away. Good Luck and don't be so nervous.
you might want to go to the Ovarian Cancer forum, lots of discussion about these things, most people on there do not have OC.
I think it is a lot more common than you think. I teach High School PE and Health. On a regular basis girls talk to me about cysts and fibroids and how painful they are.
Perhaps you should look into alternative therapies in helping rid yourself of these cysts.
