pain in groin

i had a test that goes into groin to my brain and a brain anuerysm was found, this was done dec 17th 2010!!! since then my groin is so swolllen and i can hardly walk, looks like the muscle above the groin has collpased. i feel my heart beating in my femoral artery very painful. what could this be

Following the procedure you may have developed a clot or thrombus there, or inflammation or blood collection or hematoma. Please consult your specialist and get an urgent dopplar for this. Take care!

Thank goodness it was found.  Have you called your dr. and told them of the swelling?  If you haven't, make sure the surgeon knows this is happening.  It may be normal but the surgeon needs to tell you this.  Goodluck with your recovery.
