pain in penis during and after wet dream

I was sleeping on my stomach and had a wet dream that woke me up with severe sharp pains at the base of my penis on the under part.  I think that my body weight on my penis while ejaculating caused this pain.  I got up and urinated and the pain was an intense burning that lasted about ten minutes and slowly dissipated.  I fell back asleep and the next day when I urinated the pain was there but only briefly at the beginning.  In the evening I masturbated to see what would happen and sure enough it returned upon ejaculation.  It wasnt as bad as it was at night but it was still sharp and burning toward the base of the penis.  I am at day two and not sure if this is normal considering the wet dream incident.  Is this serious?  Did something get damaged?  What should I do?

I saw other people with a similar problem but mine was induced by the pressure on my penis during ejaculation while sleeping.  Any ideas?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Pain during or after ejaculation or voiding is usually due to prostatitis or inflammation of prostate gland.  During sexual arousal the prostate gland manufactures fluid that accounts for about 2/3 of the volume of ejaculate. Ejaculation beyond the capacity of the prostate to fill and empty may also cause discomfort.  If one ejaculate infrequently too, fluid still builds up from thoughts, dreams, fantasies, etc. This has to be released periodically to decompress the gland and relieve the symptoms and if it happens due to force or inflammation, it causes discomfort. Prostatitis can be both bacteria (due to infection) or a bacterial. Bacterial is treated with antibiotics. Pus cells and bacteria are found in the prostatic fluid.  Abacterial is treated with supportive measures.
I would strongly recommend you to see a urologist. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Any doctor results or anything on this, buiakka?

I had the exact same thing happen to me just the other night.  I woke up from an intense burning pain in my penis and had a very hard time urinating afterwards.  The pain was worst when urinating, but slowly dissipated afterwards.  I'm pretty heavy myself, but I was sleeping on my back when it happened so I figure the pain must have come from something else.

I sometimes get a common pain at the tip of my penis when urinating after ejaculation, but this felt very intense and was in a different place (the base) so I'm concerned I may have damaged something.

Any information or results would be very helpful.  Thanks.
