pain in right side
IN MAY 2010 HAD MY GULLBLADER REMOVED. IT IS NOW 4 MONTHS LATTER AND I HAVE PAIN IN MY RIGHT SIDE, I ALSO WANT TO SLEEP ALL THE TIME, DR TOLD ME THAT MY LIVER IS IN LARGED AND THAT IT IS STILL GROWING, HE ALSO SAID I HAVE FATTY LIVER. BUT HE DOES NOT KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. ANY ANSWERS. SCARED

Dilated common bile duct, a stone in it, pancreatic causes, and liver causes like raised enzymes should all be looked for. If you take alcohol regularly or any drugs like steroids then this could be a cause. IBS too is a possibility that can cause fatty liver due to malnutrition. Please consult a hepatologist and get this evaluated further. Liver and pancreatic function tests should be done. Take care!
