ive been to at least 8 different docs for various different problems, and have not been on any meds for at least a month because nothing theyve given me works any more. they also said the next step up was morphine but they werent willing to do because of how young i am. i had an ekg done a couple of months ago and am still waiting for them to contact me. if you want to know the pain or any other of my various annoying symptoms you can check out another post i did, joint pain, or joint pain with positive ANA.
because my HR and BP just started going up maybe a year ago im concerned whatever i have is progressing even further. this has all been going on since i was about 10 and i still have no answers. and for the past 2 years my symptoms are only multiplying and getting
worse. i dont know what to do or where to g, but i have gotten many suggestions and am working on getting into new docs who will hopefully care enough to figure out what is going on instead of just masking it with pain meds that will eventually stop working as everything ive been put on has.
i almost dont care what i have as long as i can put a name to my problems. i just want answers and they cant give me that. im living day to day right now as i never know how i will feel tomorrow.
thanks for suggestion

Chryssa,
Listen to me. Your symptoms just mean that your heart is trying to keep up with you and it is not doing a great job adjusting the pressure.
Lots of people have the change in position problem. Do not freak about that !! It means you should get checked, but it is not a dire thing.
The rapid heart beat is not a good thing. I suspect you have taken in a toxin or you have not been eating right or you have perhaps a simple problem in your heart that you might have even been born with. Some people have these symptoms as part of a panic attack, some people panic when they have heart symptoms and give themselves a panic attack.
You should get to the ER and get checked. An EKG and a toxin/drug screen will rule out lots of stuff. Things you inhale or rub on your skin can cause problems, even something you might not consider like spray paint, hairspray or a lotion.
I am not sure what the pain is that you have, but pain causes increased heart rate and high blood pressure. If you are on some sort of pain meds, they may not be the right ones for you. YOur body is running a marathon if it has high pressure and fast beats. Of course you will be tired.
Get checked for abnormal heart structures, Abnormal Heart rythms, stay away from all unnecessary chemicals. Eat and drink water well. High blood pressure damages your eyes and kidneys over time. NOt good. Get checked and get a plan -- you will feel better.
Get control of your life. Concentrate on health.
i have actually had bloodwork done like 3 months ago so i know my irons not low. and my periods are irregular sorta, in that i will have them every month but i never know when, its never the same week. and its not that i dont want to go back its that im tired of them telling me its nothing, or taking the easy way out by giving me pills and sending me home.
anyway thanksfor the help

Have you had your doctor check your iron level? If you have low iron, you will definitely feel like you are going to black out when you get up---from sitting or laying down. Low iron can also cause you to be very weak and have low energy. Something else that I just learned last week about it is that really low iron can make you short of breath.
If you have regular periods are they heavy? If you are losing a lot of blood during your periods, you could be very low on iron, AND since you are not taking vitamins, you wouldn't really have any way of replacing the iron unless you are eating really nutritional meals.
If you don't want to go to the doctor again, maybe pick up some iron pills and try one a day and see if you feel better. They should be taken with food or after a mean because they can be brutal on an empty stomach. (They also will make you constipated so eat some stuff that won't block you up.) I think that iron gets absorbed into your bloodstream better if you take vitamin C around the same time----but I would google that and double check.
Hope this helps!
