please help

I have been having dizziness, lightheadedness and brain fog for the past year, additional symptoms are heat intolerance, at times decreased appetite, fatique, muscle aches, light sensitivity, vision problems, exercise intolerance, shortness of breath, heaviness in chest, tremors, and occassional near syncope episodes where I get extremely hot, sweating from head to toe, extremely dizzy, nausea, palpitations and my arms and legs go limp. This will last for a few minutes and decreases. Afterwards I feel still dizzy but not as bad, hot and wiped out and will sleep for a few hours afterwards. The doctors said it was not my heart even though my heart rate ranged from 50-150's on 24 hour holter's monitor. thyroid, ana, anti dna, sed rate, cortisol levels normal, all lab work normal except epstein barr showed old contact, neg for early antibodies. The two doctors don't seem to care to find out whats going on, i have to harass them to do anything,  The dizziness and brain fog is the hardest for me, especially when i am driving to work and have to pull over because I feel like I am going to pass out. I am starting to feel like I am a mental case. Any advice, suggestions or possible causes would be so greatly appreciated!

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You have described your symptoms pretty well. From you symptoms alone it sounds like chronic fatigue syndrome to some extent except for mylagia and arthralgia. This usually presents with widespread myalgia and arthralgia, headaches, chronic mental and physical exhaustion, cognitive difficulties, concentration difficulty and memory problems.
Then you also need to investigate other causes of brain fog like liver dysfunction (get liver enzymes done—liver function test), kidney dysfunction (get kidney function test done), and anemia. Poor sleep pattern and sleep problems like sleep apnea too can cause brain fog. Sleep studies by sleep specialists can help diagnose this. Low Vit D or Vit B12 too could be the cause.
Hypothyroidism, diabetes and hormonal imbalance in women due to either menopause or any other cause like PCOD should be investigated. It can abe an anxiety and panic attack.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Hope this helps. Take care!
