It says on examination Mrs **** displayed subtalar joint inversion during heelHeel pain Retrocalcaneal bursitis strike and through mid stance of the gait cycle. Increased digitalDigital rectal exam flexion was notesd, and there was elements of generalised elavated tone.
Could anyone tell me in basic terms what this means I would be grateful if someone could help out . Thank you
your heelHeel pain Retrocalcaneal bursitis hits the ground slightly tilted (towards the midline of your body) when you initially step on the ground---this is normalNormal saline flush for most people.
your toes grip the ground (increased digitalDigital rectal exam flexion), and you have tightness in your muscles (increased tone).
you sound pretty normalNormal saline flush. You should have gotten this explained from the podiatrist. If you didn't...shame on him/her!
