Ive had undx neuro problesn for a while ad recently received this report off podiatrist. I havent got a clue at all what it means please please can someone help me out with it!
It says on examination Mrs **** displayed subtalar joint inversion during heel strike and through mid stance of the gait cycle. Increased digital flexion was notesd, and there was elements of generalised elavated tone.
Could anyone tell me in basic terms what this means I would be grateful if someone could help out . Thank you

your heel hits the ground slightly tilted (towards the midline of your body) when you initially step on the ground---this is normal for most people.
your toes grip the ground (increased digital flexion), and you have tightness in your  muscles (increased tone).
you sound pretty normal.  You should have gotten this explained from the podiatrist.  If you didn't...shame on him/her!
