post triple bypass complication

Just had triple bypass surgery ... 4 weeks ago.  Was doing fine until a week ago.  I came home with a hard lump in the upper thigh where the vein was taken out of.  It didn't bother me until a week ago.  The lump hurts alot now whether I walk or just take a short trip to the store.  The surgeon has put a needle in my thigh on two different occations and extracted some fluid but the fluid builds back up within 24 hours.  I'm getting quite frustrated.  Pls help.

This is a point of a major artery, that bleeds a lot. So a hematoma develops commonly in this area. In your case it appears to have become infected. Please consult your doctor and get the swelling examined. You may need a course of antibiotics and some local applications.  

It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

had a triple bypass 12th jan 09 that was a monday came out on the sun i had an irregular heart beat which they say one in 3 can do so had to go and be zapped to regulate it again 9wks on and doing ok appart from my b/p being to high the hospital took my b/p tablets off me so it started to be high when i got home just getting it right know so i can go to do the cardiac rehab
