previous episode and intermittent leg pain

Hi

In march, i had an episode where the my right hand and arm went completely numb, this numbeness travelled up into the right side of my face and lasted for about ten minutes. After the episode i was a bit confused, got a bad headache and felt really tired. Went to emergency that evening but the doctor said she didn't know what it might be. A few days after, i started expeiencing pins and needles in my hands and feet, this lasted for about three months on and off. I went to my gp about the pins and needles and she referred me to a neurologist. When i saw the neurologist months later, he said that the first episode was probably a migraine and that the pins and needles weren't related and that i was just more aware of my own bodily sensations after the initial episode. Also i sometimes get this weird pain in my leg, its like a sharp pain which starts at the bottom of my leg and travels up to the bone/muscle in my bottom, usually only last a few minutes and resolves itself. Could this be a blood clot, could all these symptoms be related? Also could the initial episode i had have been a TIA? Thanks

I doubt that it's a blood clot in your leg unless you are experiencing swelling, redness and heat from your leg as well.
It could be an impinged nerve in your back and/or leg.  As far as the other episode, I like you would have gone to the ER as well. I can't beleive that's all the neurologist gave you for an answer though.  If you continue to have these episodes, push your doctor for another referral.

Best of luck
