same symptoms

I am having the same symptoms.  Heartburn, back pain, lightheaded and neausea, I also had lots of belching but I do that to try and stop the neausea.  I took my blood pressure and it was 146/91 and BPM was 86, my normal is about 110/66 and BPM is about 65 to 70.  I had Reflux surgery 15 years ago and have not had heartburn since, until last night.  Symptoms have gone away since the middle of the night.  History of my family.  My father has 9 brothers and sisters and 1 had heart transplant and has since dies, 1 had 6 bypass surgery and a few have had heart attacks.  On my mothers side, her father had 3 heart attacks and died at the age of 55, all 7 of his brothers and sisters have had heart problems and bypass.  What could have caused this?

wow ... your getting butt kicked!

I was told by my doctor to drink ginger ale and eat ginger root on my food and that helped a lot with my nausea ... stretching and working out has helped with the soreness, but I admit its very hard to motivate myself to do that ....

I hope you get to feeling better ... it ***** to be sick

If you are a lady, sometimes a heart attack can present like heartburn amongst other things and from your listed family history, it sounds like you have a concern about your heart- I recommend you go to your doctor today and if you start having the symptoms again, make it the emergency room.

Higher blood pressure an a faster heart rate can also come with pain.  If your heart checks out okay and you start to get these symptoms on a regular basis, it would seem going back to your GI specialist would be in order.
