serious problems for over a year

About a year ago I developed a stinging pain in my nose, when I looked in the mirror I could see that my nose was loosing some of the soft tissue & the cartilidge was starting to become very visable under the skin.
I had extensive tesing & even biopsies but other then inflammation nothing else really showed up.
Over the passed year I've noticed other parts of my body have been progressively loosing the soft tissue, it's very noticeably around boney areas, hands, feet, knees etc
The skin is normal but all my bones are starting to show through very white under the skin, there is also some yellowing of the tissue under the skin, my face is looking twice as old as it should, as I've lost most of the fat tissue in my face & I'm being left with basically a thin layer of skin & soft tissue, my hands etc are really boney as there is hardly any soft tissue left on them, the veins in my body are very prominent as the soft tissue around them has been dissappearing progressively over the passed year.
Apart from the stinging pain I feel in certain ares, there is also a tinglerling feeling & then the area is left quite numb as if the nerves are being destroyed.
When I notice an area of my body that is stinging the skin or tissue under it shows as white patches with a very very thin line of red around the outside of the patch. Then it progresses to  loss of tissue & this yellowy colour & loss of feeling.
The really scarey part is that I can see this is my family members aswell, my son has lost a lot of the soft tissue on his hands, face & feet, his cheeks look yellowy & the veins in his forhead are now very prominent because he has lost soft tissue, a baby in the family has a very pale yellow face & 2 other family members are showing the same symptoms.
Tests are not really showing anything & I think that because this is such a slow progrressive thing that some people are not even noticing all the changes.
Over the last year I've kept telling Drs etc that this is contagious but I think that because they can't find the answers they are not really listening to me. I'm sure they think that this is all in my head & when I tell them other people are involved they say I am imagining things.
I can see this happening but no one is listening. when the babies mother noticed that her face has this yellow tinge to it, I was told that it was just a skin tone, so why has this only just happened, Why have other people got it aswell.
I know that this is not in my head but I can't convince  the Drs of this.
I've been searching the net for over a year & I can't find anything simalar so I 'm hoping that someone on here might have heard of this or something similar.

I've heard of it, I'm living it. What state do you live in? I'm starting wonder if it is a new disease/virus/chemical warfare/contaiment in food, etc...So many people have it here, upsate NJew york, it's bizzare it's not public. Something needs to be done to expose this. I've been sick for about a year and a half. If there are Dr's reading this, something has to be done.

I have not heard of this but I sympathize with you about the doctors not listening to you.  I'm sure none of this is in your head and I hope that someone actually takes the time to listen to you and do something to figure out what this is.  It sounds serious and it is definitely not normal.  Have they checked to make sure your liver is functioning properly because I know jaundice can cause yellowing of the skin.  Maybe it has something to do with the liver.  I would change doctors until you find one who will listen.  They are here to treat our health and they can't find out what's going on inside our bodies unless WE tell them.  There has got to be someone out there who will listen to what you are saying and do research on this and find out how to prevent it or what's causing it.  Keep trying and I wish you the best of luck.  God Bless
