shaking

I am 59yrs.old had a hysterectomy long ago. Since Jan.15th I have a vibration feeling in my lower stomach. It is constant. My dr. did an a-ray of my kdney's and it came back okay. She said, "She can't help me with this"
There is no pain but at night I have body shakes about twice a night. I realize this is not going to kill me but I am so tired of this. Any ideas on how to stop this would be well appreciated.

Mary

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It is possible to feel tremors all over the body. Tremors are often associated with drugs, alcohol, smoking, lack of sleep, poor sleep patterns, stress and fatigue. They can be seen in peripheral neuropathies of diabetes, in hyperthyroidism, parasomnia, multiple sclerosis, TIAs or transient ischemic attacks or mini strokes, hypoglycemia, disorders of calcium metabolism, hyperparathyroidism etc. Consult an internal medicine specialist or your PCP. Discuss these possibilities with your doctor.  A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind.
Hope this helps. Take care!

Are there any bladder symptoms with it, like frequent urination?  I have interstitial cystitis and this can cause bladder spasms with me.  I was given dietary instructions and have received bladder instillations of Elmiron to treat it.  Also, you have a larger artery with an abdominal aorta in the abdomen.  Sometimes, I feel it beating really strong in my abdomen.  Could it be that?
