My brother has asperger's, and I have my bachelor of science degree in psychology, focusing a lot of attention on asperger's and autism. I would definitely talk to your GP about the headaches, fatigue, hallucinations, pins and needs feelings, pain, and your family history of epilepsy and feelings that it might be sleep paralysis. The other things you mentioned, about the depression, feeling not quite there, having overwhelming emotions, and being surprised at what you do when you are in a certain mood, are all typical things that people with asperger's can experience. There are things you can do to help with these problems as well, so talking with your GP about these issues would be a good idea, too. Sometimes it helps to separate out what you can, and talk about what you are feeling physically first, and then discuss what is going on in your mind, or how you feel emotionally. If you aren't getting adequate sleep, and you are stressed, the symptoms of asperger's can get more extreme, so dealing with all of this is really important. I hope you find answers soon.
By all means, bring up your symptoms... but you will want to summarize, perhaps make points of your symptoms. You should get a referral to a neurologist and hopefully they will order a brain MRI and and EEG, etc.. Also, perhaps your primary might think of some testing (or refer you to an endocrinologist) like TSH and testosterone levels, for example- things that can affect your emotions (outside the spiritual realm, and if you want help in that area, you may want to see a Christian pastor).
Are you doing any natural things to combat your depression, such taking Sam-E or flaxseed oil or enteric coated fish oil capsules (none of those are good to take late in the day), magnesium, or like eating walnuts, macadamia nuts, pumpkin seeds, freshwater fish (such as salmon, tuna and I believe sardines are too), etc. rich in omega fatty acids that are good for mood elevation? Listening to soothing music you enjoy, enjoying the beauties of creation, getting enough exercise are other natural ways to combat depression.
