Your still a wonderful young man and just because your having this problem does not make you less a man. YOU have a medical Problem. So continue to to find a Doctor who knows what the are talking about. I am a women and have wetting problem and they have not found out why yet but there is meds that can help. So please Shawn hang in there. My son had the kidney stone and inflames unrinary tub. Was on meds for a few months and then had the stones removed and he was weak and so sick and in pain for a while. But now is fine . He felt the same way but hung in there til he god the right doctor to listen. There is always hope to rely on. I will be praying for you.
As the urologyst has said that you have kidney stones and inflamed kidney tubes, is he going to do anything about this?
When I read about the flank pain in the pelvis area, I immediately thought of kidney stones.
I have had a kidney stone. When they move they cause a lot of pain and renal colic. It can make you wet and cause you to have the runs, it can make you vomit and have a high temperature when you feel really ill. At its worst, I was passing green gunge from below with sickness and diarhea. The pain was so strong that pethedine did not help and I was thrust into a sitting position when I was lying ill in bed. This is from the stone moving.
When the stone or stones move, they cause irritation and can cause infections. Keep an eye on your pee, if you see it is cloudy, red, get a sample to the doctor as you may need an antibiotic.
You must drink plenty of fluids. Don't stop drinking because you think that it will stop you peeing yourself. It is important to drink plenty of water. If the stones break up, luckily they will pass through like grains of sand. Be prepared as this is extremely painful too. The sharp pains that you have experienced in the penis could have been a stone passing through.
Your blood pressure is far too high. No wonder you are feeling lightheaded. Your medication either needs adjusting or a differrent one might be needed. The raised blood pressure may also be from an infection that you may have.
Go back to the doctor to get your blood pressure sorted out and ask the doctor or your urologyst about your kidney problem. If you still have a stone, the urologyst may be able to shatter it so it passes through. Some stones do not show up on xrays. An ultrasound scan may be better, but that depends on your urolgyst. Keeps pestering them until they sort you out. If you don't let them know that you are unwell, they won't know.
i am so sory for feeling this way. I am afraid to see another doc the last time i did i told her about the incontance issue and said i needed depends prescribed cause i am poor have a wife and four kids so buy the time i pay bills we have a hard time buying the depends. and if there is no proof medicaly i need them they fight me like im asking to be prescribed drugs.
it is embarrising to ask for it and trying to work having to deal with it *****.
never feel well and no doctor seems to care, I hurt so bad just really want it to stop. I mean i guess wearing a diaper isnt the end of the world but I always thought surely not me till i was maybe 90 lol. everything is comming back normal i have even had 3 spinal taps. i guess i put myself through all this for fun and diapers. that is how i see the docs looking at this, really really ***** and there is so far nothing i can do about it.
I even reacently went to a butt doctor dont know what there called but told her about the stool incontance and she said there was a tear, and wanted to do nothing about it. i am really starting to think i will be in the dar things for life, i guess there is worse things right?? anyhow just feel sick lightheaded all the time in a fog cant think hand tremors leg weakness tired all the time, this is in my opinion no good way to live life!!!!!
First there is the stress of the family and the money.
Secondly, your blood pressure is too high, so you need to get that sorted out. Your high blood pressure is probably exacerbated (made worse), by the money issues you have, but you will continue to feel lightheaded until this is sorted out. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can result in heart attacks and strokes.
Thirdly, you have a problem with your waterworks, and possibly a kidney stone. This can be anywhere from the kidneys right down to the urethra (pipe in yur penis). So you need to drink plenty of water and seek help with what the urologyst told you that you have inflamation of the tubes and stone.
Fourthly, regarding your back passage. You have a tear. OK she wouldn't repair it. But what advice has she given you. This tear needs to be kept clean.
With your incontinence, this can be aggravated due to what you are eating, as well as from stress and anxiety. Eat little and often and avoid foods like sprouts and cabbage. Don't drink fizzy drinks, stick with the water.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

It can get to a point where the Last thing you want to hear is that a test was Normal. I've been hearing that for over two years and I hope the current specialist finds something Abnormal that explains what's wrong, so I can relate to your frustration about tests.
Since that many tests have come back normal, I think that what you need is a very smart primary care doctor to help with the diagnostic process and find the best specialists for second opinions-- at least from another urologist. What's your current primary care doctor like? Do you always see him/her for follow-ups after specialist appointments? I know how infuriating it can be to deal with doctor after doctor, but that seems to be what it takes to get medical problems dealt with. You could try asking people you know, and looking online, for doctor recommendations. It's insane how many doctors don't do their jobs, so that gives a better chance of finding someone good.
Did the current urologist give you any sort of treatment or pain medication for the kidney stones? If so, did they help at all?
By "butt doctor" did you mean gastroenterologist? If so and that doctor was no help... totally go see another one. I'm pretty sure that most of them are suffering from brain damage. If there's a tear down there, I think a second opinion about treating it is completely warranted. Did she do a colonoscopy?
Also, as far as getting insurance to cover things that they really ought to, it often comes down to your doctor fighting the insurance company a bit. They have to fill out the right forms and, if that doesn't do it, the doctor should call the insurance company and speak to as many people as necessary to get it covered. Your primary care doctor can even give it a try if the urologist can't or won't do it. I had a doctor speak with 8 different people at my insurance company to get an MRI approved. It did get approved, but she had to work for it and put in the time. She also had to fight for an expensive medication. Not all doctors will do that-- maybe some don't know it can work or just don't have the time.
