skin rash with heart palpitations

Hi. I'm a 27 year old female and about two months ago I broke out in a strange rash all over my body especially on my legs and arms. It may last hours but then it disappears leaving no trace. After about 4 days of the off and on rash I went to the doctor. The rash had disappeared by the time the doctor checked me but he gave me a steroid medicine and Allegra. After taking the week of steroid that the doctor prescribed and taking the Allegra once a day for that week the rash had seemed to be gone for good. After a few days the rash came back. It has continued to pop up out of nowhere. Somedays i'm fine and it doesn't bother me. For the past 2 weeks though i have noticed heart palpitations, and more so when I'm experiencing the rash. Its scary and i have no idea what this is coming from. Another thing, I don't know if this could have anything to do with it or not but I've had a problem with my tailbone hurting. This has been going on off and on for over a year. I don't recall ever falling or injuring it. At times it can be really uncomfortable to even sit down. It usually last for a week or two and eases away until another flare up a month or two later. Any information on these matters are truly appreciated. Thanks
