small lump on temple swelling and headahe

I have a small pea sized bump underneath the skin on my temple. It is tender to to touch. I have headaches that are real bad and almost constant. My neck is also very sore and the area with the lump is swollen. What could this be?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
The lump could either be a neurofibroma or a swollen lymphnode. It could also be folliculits or infection of hair root. Please consult your PCP regarding this.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
