soft yellow scab on scraped elbow, after 10 days

I fell off my bike and scraped my elbow. it was kept moist this whole time (antibiotic cream for the first week, then just ointment) knowing wet wound healing is faster than dry.

however, now it does not itch, but it has a soft layer of the old skin hanging on top regardless wet or dry. and occasionally there will be some clear dark yellow drainage coming out around the edges.

is that yellow skin the scab in this situation? and is this considered a fast and good healing process?
