soreness in lower gut

I am a 27 year old male. I have been to the doctors about four times now about this prob so i hope i recieve help here. It started about a month ago now one morning I woke up and had a sore lower mid back unlike anything I have ever had. My low gut had hurt allot too.I also had a small fever. I waited a few days than seen a doctor at the walk-in clinic. I told him about my synphtoms and without checking he said it was a prostate infection. He perscribed Ciprofloxine, wich made my gut hurt worse and my fever rise more. After on nigh of that I went to the emergancy room and the doctor there as well said prostate infection. He actually gave me a prostate exam and said it had felt swollen. He perscribed a different antibiotic (Ofloxacan) it was easier on my gut, so i dicontinued the othe antibiotic I was taking. My pains now were almost gone at the end of the cycle of that antibiotic. I waited afew days and they started to come back so I picked up using the first antibiotic again. They didnt help at all. I went to my doctor and told him about it and he said that the infection was probably almost gone. I took his word, aweek later im still feeling ill. I called him and he had said it was the antibiotics wearing off. I am now a week after that and my stool is a very pale color with mucus on it. I am drinking lots of water and eating no sugars. I am trying my best to get better, nothing seems to get better. My lower gut is sore as well as my testicals but my back ache is very dull. I am so sick uf this consuming my life and hope I find a answer please.

The pains I had in my back are pretty much gone. I still have a lower gut pain that comes and goes. It most often comes when I eat anything with sugar or any dairy products. Since im on a waiting list till Jan. to see my doctor I have disontinued to drink anything other than water. I have also cut back in sugar and have quit eating or drinking dairy products. These few step I have taken have helped out a bit. The pains in my lower gut dont happen as much. I still hope to get some test done. So when they are done I shall post the results.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Low back ache could be due to an intervertebral slip disc, lumbo-sacral spondylitis, prostatitis or infection of genitourinary system, or irritable bowel disease. Irritable bowel disease can cause both lower gut and lower back symptoms. Prostatitis, epididymitis, orchitis etc can be diagnosed by examining the semen and urine for infection. If you are sexually active STD should be explored and investigated.
I think you should discuss this with your doctor. Also you may need to get some tests done. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
