spasms in left little finger and left foot

Hi newbie here..wonder if anyone can help?

Just recently and for the past month or so..my little finger on my left hand goes inwards and its quite painfull..it doesnt last long but nevertheless it hurts! It keeps happening a lot. My job is examining small items of jewellery..holding them with my left hand and looking at them with my right using a 10x lens..Im wondering if this could be why? Having said that..I have been doing this job for nearly 8yrs and never had a problem.

Also my toes on my left foot sometimes go in opposite directions - sort of cramp and the other week my left leg really hurt..almost like cramp but no muscled seizing..weird feeling actually, I had to get up to stop it..thought possibly I had trapped a nerve...I had my legs up on the settee when it happened and it hasnt happened since.  I only mention as it all seems to be down my left side...should I be seeing a doctor?

Appreciate any help..thanks!

Many thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I shall indeed make an appointment - the finger spasm is the one that is happening more frequently than the foot/leg cramps or whatever they are!

I shall keep you posted.

I agree. See a doc! Could be many different things. Sounds neurological to me. Maybe a Dyskinesia. Let us know.

Yes you should see a doctor! You should also consider having a brain CT scan. Keep us posted! Good Luck!
