strange condition

Hello Everyone ,
I am not sure if it is the right place of the forum .However I will state my symptoms .Please let me know if anyone knows anything about it .

Sometime during the day (mostly afternoons ) I see my inner left thigh (close to my knee) aproximately an area 3'' x  3'' getting all red & extremely hot .By viaually looking at thigh ,I see it total red like there is blood underneath .That red patch on  my thigh is also extremely hot ( I would say almost like it is burning) However rest of thigh is almost like normal temperature .On certain occasions I will also feel the need to scratch my upper body during that time .It would go away in about an hour or so . I had my ALT checked which was abnormal about 4 months ago  (Value 83) but last month it was normal (under 40) .Does anyone know about it ?Would appreciate the feedback .

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This hot red patch can be contact allergy to something or it can be thrombophlebitis or inflammation of a vein or deep vein thrombosis. Apply a local antiallergic and see if it helps. If it does not then please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Sounds like some kind of allegic reaction next time it happens take a benadryl and see if it goes away. If it does then think of what you come in contact with around the time it happens.
