strange sunburn-like rash

The last few days I've been experiencing an odd ?rash? on the tops of my knees.  They begin to feel sunburned, turn red, and are very hot to the touch.  It is happening to both knees simultaneously.  I've googled and googled trying to find something about this oddity, but nothing came close. I could really use some feedback about this - I'm completely stumped, and frankly a little concerned.

Hi.. Did you ever find out what was wrong? My husband also gets this strange sunburn rash all over his body for no reason. He has had the flu the past two days and this sunburn rash came from nowhere. This sunburn like rash has appeared on him numerous times with no explanation.

you may be experienceing dermititis from dry skin. do you wear pants all day,jeans, take hot baths and cold outside. try skin moisturizer. it may help. sunburn but no sun, look up dryskin conditions.
