I can get on with what I have to do all day with out any problems
but between 5 o clock and 8 o clock in the early evening usually when
I am preparing or just finished dinner I will come over all faint feeling dizzy
then I have tremors in my hands and generally feel very hot and washed out. This last for up to 15 minutes
I am 70 years of age  female I must add it has happened twice at about 1pm lately

Are you diabetic or hypoglycemic?  It sounds like a possible low blood sugar problem to me but you should consult with your doctor and have the proper blood work done to be sure.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The first thing to be ruled out is a hormonal imbalance due to menopause and hence please visit your gynecologist to get FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone assessed. The second possibility is a thyroid disorder. Anemia, diabetes, overwork, stress and fatigue could be the other causes.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please consult your PCP.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
