What ever became of your symptoms? You have almost described my symptoms to the T.....
you need to go to the doctor and get you're blood work done. Not to scare you, but swollen lymph nodes under the underarm is a sign of leukemia.
Please update me on your tests. I just stumbled upon this posting while searching around the net. I am very similar to you. I am 35 years old, 2 children, one of which is 7 months old that I am nursing...I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I had a chest xray done, all ok. I had two biopsies on the lymph nodes, since they are so large. All ok there. But, the surgeon wants me to do a CT Scan on my neck to see what is going on a little better. What could it be? I honestly thinkn the nodes are from being sick a lot while pregnant (always throat/sinus issues for me) or drug induced. They came up while I was pregnant. I will find out more. I just wanted to say I am there with you on the worries! It's hard not to, especiallly when you have little ones. I had been mentioned the lymphoma word too, not a comfy thing to think about.
Please don't feel alone. I too am currently frightened because of some odd symptoms I am having. Tomorrow I will go for some cat scans, more x-rays and additional blood work. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your life will begin to improve soon. Don't give up!! We never know what is right around the corner!! xxoo
thanks for the encouragement.. it really helps.. thank you guys..
And no I don't believe you are over-reacting. My father had a lump in his neck and was going through the same thing you are now. Fortunately, it turned out not to be cancer. You are also pregnant right now.
Just want to say that if you have entered this forum, you are not alone anymore. People here are nice and really concerned.
Its real easy to say don't worry, but if you can at least wait until your next Doctor appointment, maybe things will be ok when you go back.
Wow.. I am so sorry that you are going through this and I can only imagine how scared you must be. Swollen lymph nodes doesn't necessarily mean cancer. I know viral or bacterial infections can cause swollen, even hard lymph nodes.. including in the neck area. And since you've been feeling weak, perhaps that is the case?
