teenage boy always sick on his stomach and diarrhea.

My 17 year old son is always sick to his stomach with nausea and diarrhea especially in the morning. He had pyloric stenosis as an infant but grew out of it without surgery. I thought it may be stress related but it has been going on for a few years and has gone undiagnosed. He doesn't have symptoms of reflux or heartburn, nor is he loosing weight. He looks healthy and is nearly 6ft and 200lbs. But he is tired all the time and sometimes feels like he's going to pass out.
What should I do? Should I consult a gastroenterologist?
