Hello,
In multiple myeloma, a complete blood count (CBC) reveals low hematocrit (anemia) and a low number of red and white blood cells and platelets.
CMP is Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. It is a frequently ordered panel that gives your doctor important information about the current status of your kidneys, liver, and electrolyte and acid/base balance as well as of your blood sugar and blood proteins.

Hello,
The various tests of multiple myloma are complete blood count(may show a low white or red blood cell count),complete urine examination(elevated proteins and Bence Jones proteins are typical.) , serum and urine electrophoresis , ionized calcium levels in blood and urine,x-rays bones and bone marrow aspiration and biopsy. A newer blood test called the Freelite diagnostic assay can also be used to diagnose and monitor multiple myeloma.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how your aunt is doing.
