undiagnosed abdominal pain and weight loss

In Jan of this year I had my Gallbladder removed, since that time I have been hospitilized with excessive vomiting and lose stools causing dehydration. I have lost 30lbs. 2 weeks ago I was taken to the hospital by ambulance with upper right abdominal pain going though to my back and up into my chest. Since then I have returned to the ER x2 each time only for them to give me pain medication and send me home. I have had a chest x-ray, a CT scan, an endoscopy and an upper GI with a small bowel follow though, and so far they tell me they can not find anything. I continue to have extreem abdominal pain, with no help in site. I called my Dr. office today and complained most loudly, the RN told me that she would call back well its 2 hour since the office closed and no one has called yet. I want to go into the dr office alittle more armed with thoughts on what to do next, any Ideas ?

Hi again,  the more I read the more I see that we are not alone in this post-op pain from gallbladder surgery.  It's good to know and accept this.  Let me assure you however, that the pain will finally subside.  Good luck.

Possible autoimmune disease. I had serious abdominal pain and weight loss, vomiting, was later diagnosed with Scleroderma. Ask for an ANA blood test!!

when I had my gallbladder out the doctor told me I would have loose stools and so I do.  I too have had a lot of pain as if I was having another gallbladder attack.  It slowly went away after several months.  I have been free of pain now for some time.  They did give me an ultra sound and found nothing.  Guess we are just wierd.  Ha Ha.  Good Luck to you.
