undiagnosed for 26 yrs

I am 38 yrs old and have been seen by many many doctors but am still undiagnosed. I have a long list of symptoms that just stump doctors to the point of seeing me one visit then say...this isnt my field. I have seen so many neurologist and I am at a loss. So I am trying to get any advice I can..someone else has to have this somewhere!  My symptoms: Numbness and tingling happening everywhere including arms, legs, face, neck, and torso lasting for a day to a week, Terrible constant pain sometimes very sharp that it makes it hard to breath, Weakness in limbs and being unbalances (now use forearm crutches in public because of falls), Cramping and pain in abdomen, irregular bowels (at times so bad I get cold sweats, faint, sever cramping), Gait problems, unexplained hearing loss, tongue and side of face numbness causing slurred speech for days, and I am forever tired while doing next to nothing. I work 5 hrs at a desk and I have to rest the rest of the day or I cant do it again tomorrow. By weekend I am just in major recovery mode dealing with pain.  I understand I will not get answers here but someone has to have this hodge podge of symptoms too. I have had many negative MRI's and EMG's. They always lean towards MS but after tests say no I cant help you its not MS. MS cant be the ONLY illness out there. Any help, comfort, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi-- I too am suffering from an undiagnosed illness, so I can feel your panic and pain.
The fact you have broad based neurological system symptoms and them being sporadic suggest to me that it might be some sort of perhaps short lived parasite  that then breaks down and releases a toxin perhaps that then sends your nervous system into a frenzy?? It it most likely brain level where it would be harder to detect and would have a more debilitating effect?? perhaps a parasite or bacterium????
I dont mean to scare you but I saw a program on parasites and this sounds like a possibility. good luck.

find a really good chiro and get checked for proper alignment. I've heard of all of your symptoms coming from vertebrae that are shifted out of place and impinging nerves. People who think they have MS and even have the lesions to "prove" it but then only having numerous moderate to severe misalignments w/out their allopathic (traditional) docs ever noticing. If you have ever had an accident, or work at a computer it's def worth a thought. Good luck

Lupus, Tyroid issues, Lymes (hard to test late stages but worth research, docs aren't very up to date on this) ALS, Might help if you post the battery of tests you may have had.  When you research your symptoms are you documenting the tests with the associated illnesses that you come up with after researching them?

Have you seen specialists for these issues, rhemy..neuro, endo, etc etc?

I'm suffering too, still searching but labeled with anxiety even though labs are starting to come back irregular.  At first though, 'ALL'  the test they could run were not all the tests they should have run...
