undiagnosed upper rear right abdomen pain

I really need help after suffering for over a year with sometimes dull achey  pains, sometimes sharp pains in upper rear right abdomen, and general feeling unwell, lightheaded, dizziness.
doctor suggested maybe kidney stones/gall bladder, but after ultrasound, Ct scan and mri scan, nothing untoward found. I am really at my wits end, my doctor says i am woman with mysterious illness, but this does not help me...I do not know where to turn now for help. I have this pain constant, all day,and is only eased with pain killers, which is what doctor suggests. It does not feel at all like muscle pain. My latest blood results showed higher levels of protein and tropanine, slightly aneamic, doctor says this is nothing to worry about.
Any idea where to go next?

Hey,  my sympathy is out to you!   I have had this pain in my right upper abdomen for years.  In the last year it has become a daily battle.  I would make sure that your doctors checks a full liver panel, pancreatic panel and you said you had an ultrasound.  I am thinking that was of your gallbladder.  Your gallbladder ultrasound can be normal but just not working right.  They do a test called a HIDA scan with ejection factor to check the functioning of your gallbladder.  Might be worth a try.  I just had a small bowel series done this morning.  Nothing again.  I feel your flustration.   I also had my gallbladder removed and still the pain.  Just keep researching and trying to find the answer yourself.  Anything you find I would sure like to know about.  Thanks and keep your head up.  Be thankful for the small amount of time during the day that the pain is tolerable.

Hello Arroli, I will msg you if that is alright. It sounds like you are having a tough time. I am baffled too. But that doesn't mean there is nothing going on. Peace
