unexplained fatigue, metal confusion, cant find words, cant accommodate eyes

I have these "episodes" that no doctor seems to figure out. From time to time I feel an unexplained fatigue, its takes hard work to even move my arms, hard to keep my eyes opened, no energy at all. But if i try to sleep, i cant. I don't have even the energy to speak, and when i do, i cant find the words, the simplest ones, the everyday words....i refer to objects like "the thing that does that" or describe a fruit or anything very trivial, cause i cant recall its name...its terrifying. Its like everything is very slow in my brain, i feel really stupid, confused, lightheaded, cant focus, can barely work. It may not make any sense but the feeling in my head is that its submersed in a very dense matter...  It's difficult to read, really weird sensation with my eyes, light fobia, i cant accommodate them, its like my sight gets "crossed" and back, and again, when i try to read or watch TV. When I get up everything turns black, for like five seconds or so, and my head pulses for the same time. My ears feel blocked, i can hear myself speaking from the inside. Sometimes i have headache, but not always, sometimes the vein on the side of my head pulses, and i can feel it by touching it. Last couple of times i noticed that the veins in my hand were very bulged, very different from what it normally is and it coincides with some allergic reaction.these episodes can last from a day or two to a week. On these days i can barely function, i miss exams, make mistakes at work, get very cranky, people must think i have a hangover. It really does affect my life in a very negative way. Sorry i cant explain better, I'm not a native English speaker, which makes it even harder to describe the symptoms. And sorry it's a long list, but if anyone can give me an insight on any thing related to how a feel, i would really appreciate it. Thanks so much. ah, I'm a 25 year woman, not overweight, have mitral valve prolapse. thanks again!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
What you have could be episodes of transient ischemic attacks or seizures (not the classical types). The possibility of MS too cannot be ruled out.
From your symptoms alone it sounds like chronic fatigue syndrome. This usually presents with widespread myalgia and arthralgia, headaches, chronic mental and physical exhaustion, cognitive difficulties, concentration difficulty and memory problems.
Then you also need to investigate other causes of brain fog like liver dysfunction (get liver enzymes done—liver function test), kidney dysfunction (get kidney function test done), and anemia.
Hope this helps. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
