unexplained feeling faint, tachycardia, general ill feeling, swollen hands and face.

I'm a 48 year old female who was in great health all of my life, until 18 months ago.  I had a really bad cold virus 18 months ago, and about two weeks later starting having strange symptoms.  First I had charlie horses in my lower legs and feet, then muscle twitching in my legs, pins and needles feeling is my feet and hands, hand swelling, hands and arms falling asleep, occasional sharp pains in my head, dry eyes and mouth at times and occasional puffy face, eyelids, and dark circles under my eyes.  I had a warm burning sensation that would travel up the side of my head.  Feeling like I was going to black out, fatigue and extreme brain fog.   I went to the ER a couple of times, everything came back normal.  Blood pressure lying down, sitting and standing was normal, EKG normal and CBC was normal.  Brain MRI was normal. My symptoms wax and wane, but I almost always have a general ill feeling.  I have episodes that wake me from a sound sleep, I wake up with a racing heart, and feeling like I am going to black out.  I am a mystery to my doctors... They aren't sure what is going on. I had a zio patch put on twice, but they were not able to catch an episode, because the patch would not stay connected more that 3-4 days, it would start blinking orange, and I couldn't get it to stop blinking.

Lyme test done 16 months ago was negative

DSDNA is positive
ana is positive
c3compliment is low

I just saw a rheumatologist, and awaiting more lab results.

I'm so frustrated! I hardly drive anymore, I feel so out of it, and worry about having an episode while driving.

Could I have leaky gut?  Fungal infection?  Can a virus do this?

I'm sick of feeling sick!

Coconut is a moderate food allergen for me, so I'm wondering if I should use this?  I am schedule to have to teeth extracted next week - they both have chronic infections.  I opted to pull them instead of having a redo root canal.  I will let them heal and then get implants.

Also,  zI was put on a 4mg Dosepak for 6 days.  It did not help me, I did not feel better at all.  My Rheumy said if I had auto immune issues that I should have had a different response.  Going in to see my primary today.  This is frustrating!!

Your high tissue mercury is a concern for 2 reasons.
1. It is highly toxic!
2. It compromizes the blood brain barrier, thus the uptake of methylocobalamin and methyltetrahydrofolate (neurological forms of B12 and folate) to your neurological system and brain is reduced.

Anti-oxidant therapy-glutathione levels must be adequate for detoxification purposes-amalgam removal and limiting any type of exposure to mercury,
is highly recommended.

Not familiar with high uranium treatements, but I'd say following a colon cleanse, I'd do a general heavy metals detox. Just look online for a Heavy Metal Detox Juice recipe of your liking.

Teeth infections! Yikes! They could easlily be the source of many of your health issues.
Here's an excerpt from another reply of mine to a similar question:
"Dr. Weston Price has written a number of books on the relationship between nutrition, dental health, and physical health.
If you do some research, you will find some of his books online for free.
--Dental infections, oral and systemic-- (Volume I and Volume II) are the last ones that I studied.
Volume I presents research on fundamentals of oral and systemic expressions of dental infections; volume II presents research on clinical expressions of dental infections.

I personally follow a superb oral health regimen and the main basis of it is "Oil Pulling" a 3000 years old Ayuverdic remedy, which has recently been repopularized, with extraordinary results! Just do a search for details.
I use coconut oil to do this twice daily-which coconut oil I must admit is more effective than prescribed meds- and my oral hygiene and health AND my overall health have never been better! "

"I have had much experience with this over the years and through my wife who was a Clinical Dietician and in charge of  the Dietitics dept. in our local hospital. 4-6 tablespoons daily in cooking or over vegetables (must be over 22 C to liquify) is therapeutic dosing, but it's best to start with 2T daily and gradually increase, as it is ...medicine!
It is anti-fungal,anti-microbial, anti-parasitic, anti-viral,anti-protozoan and anti-inflammatory, so starting slow will help you avoid  Jarisch-Herxheimer reactions.
In "Oil Pulling", you may use 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to swish vigorously for 15-20' 1st thing in the morning and then spit it out and rinse real well.
This will eliminate billions of pathogens and toxins from your entire oral cavity which serves as a perfect habitat for these unwanted offenders.
You will also reduce drastically the number of infectious agents entering your body (the mouth is the number one entry point for infectious agents as you well know).
Please do not overlook this, as I think it offers great therapeutic and preventive health benefits, at a low cost, high effectiveness and NO side effects what-so-ever! "

Cheers!
Niko

Thank you for your response.  I get my most recent lab test results tomorrow.

My Ds DNA was 11, the normal range was 0-4
My c3 compliment is 84.9, the normal range is 90.0-170
My ANA result just says positive - no range

SHBG sex hormone binding was high 131- normal range 18-114

My urine PH ranges from 6.0 to 7.5

I've had 3 urine tests, and all 3 show Urine keytones +1, epitheleal cells - occasional, leukocyte esterace - trace.

One of my blood tests showed Neutrophils 79.6  - normal range 50.0-75.0
lymphocytes 14.4 - Normal range 20-45 - the other two blood tests they were normal.

I did a hair sample, I'm not sure how accurate these are.  My Mercury was 1.9 - the normal range: < 0.80

My Uranium was 0.23  the normal range: < 0.060

We did a home uranium test, which was normal.

I found out yesterday that I also have some dental issues.  I have two root canals that need to be re done, one of them has an active infection.
I'm wondering if my teeth could possibly be causing me so many health problems.

I will post my tests results tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Could be you got a bad yeast infection or it went systemic because of lowered immune from a bug. Could be you inhaled mold. When you have excess yeast/fungus in your body it's often a sign of mold in one of your environments whether work or home. Tell your doctor you want to be tested for mold illness. If your doctor doesn't seem to be educated about this there are some specialists and hospitals that you can go to or even call and send out tests. You should also be tested for metal toxicity and have your vitamin and mineral levels checked. These will highly effect your immune system and how you recover. High ph, good probiotics, extra water, organic meat vegetable and fruit diet, stress relieving activities/exercise, essential oils, organic raw apple cider vinegar mixed in your water, toxin detoxing, fresh air, social interactions, natural hygiene products and avoiding mold (as well as carby yeast producing foods) are all proven to help the body for either of these conditions as well as many, many others. You definitely need to check for mold with the dr and in your environments (do not touch or clean, call an expert!!) and use non-harmful natural remedies for supporting your body. Avoid excessive time in your bathroom doing bath detoxes until you have had a mold expert in. You may be detoxing and breathing in mold at the same time.

Hmm, GiGIKin, your doctor is likely suspecting Lupus and your anti-dsDNA, ANA and  complement C3 tests indicate this, however, Lupus diagnosis is very complex and it takes a long time to diagnose.
I cannot comment specifically on these tests without havng the exact results and lab ranges.

Your symptoms are consistent with a tissue magnesium deficiency.
A blood test will not indicate this as blood levels rarely fluctuate much.
Also you should get iron deficiency totally ruled out.
Because of your dark circles under your eyes and other symptoms you reported this should be thoroughly investigated.

Also, did you get your thyroid tested?

You may do your own Dr. Barnes Basal Temperature Test. (there are several online versions now)

I have devoted countless of hours, scanning through the studies and groundbreaking work of Dr. Barnes, The Father of Hypothyroidism, lol!
Simply brilliant and way ahead of his time!

Instructions For Taking Basal Body Temperature:
Use an ordinary oral or rectal glass (not digital) thermometer.
Shake down the thermometer the night before, and place it on your nightstand.
The first thing in the morning BEFORE you get out of bed, place the thermometer under your arm for ten(10) minutes.
Record the temperature reading and date right away!
Repeat for 10 days.
Normal Range: 97.6 to 98.2
Averages below indicate hypothyroidism.

When I studied Dr Barnes work, one particular finding stayed with me.
From ALL the thousands of patients he treated for hypothyroid
(using natural desiccated thyroid ) NONE of these patients developed Lupus!
The ones who had been already diagnosed with Lupus, none developed any new signs of organ involvement, while being treated by Dr. Barnes for hypothyroid.

There's also possibily of pathogenic mycoplasma infection and/or one of its coinfections, which are notorioulsy hard to detect.
Do a search here under Dr. Garth Nicolson, part-time MedHelp contributor and the world's expert in this field.
Did you get a complete Borellia and coinfections Panel through IGeneX Labs?
If not, I'm afraid  Lyme's Disease is not ruled out 100%. Plus you would need an LLMD, as most doctors won't be very helpful in this investigation.

I hope this helps, however, my comments and suggestions are not intended to replace medical advice.

If you need any details, let me know.

Best wishes.
Niko
