hello i am a 26 yr old young man with an ilness that has been with me now for about ten months it all started in around feb of htis year i was fine and then cought what i was told was the flu my temp went up to 105 and i felt terrible after about a week the fever had went down but i was still feeling terrible stomach pain all over top region nauesa no energy and headaches i have had a long history with sinus infections so they sent me for a cat scan with showed mild sinus diease and poss white matter so i was sent for an mri which was normal except for mild paranasal sinus mucosal thickening without fluid air level and mild prominence of the perivascular virchow-robin spaces the docs said everything looked good the so they sent me for an ultrasound of the abdomen and my gull bladder was thick and they set me up for surgery a day before the surgery they canceled because my hida was 56% which was normal i started having low grade fever this is now march between 99.5 to 101
then sent to gi found multiple apthious ulcers and gastritis in the duendeoum nothing on the colonosopy biospy were taken all neg and no hplori months went by still feeling bad then i noticed dark stool so the did pelvic scan and said bye bye gull bladder acalculious no stones since then fever is not as prominent but i still feel terrible light headed tired bad head ache sinus like pressure back pain stomach pain and 5 to 8 loose bowel movements a day some test of interest cf sweat test eq pos. just took igg 600 crp 14 wbc 12 ast always low two previous operations both sinus with polyps and cysts any sugg

My wife has no taste. Plus, she can't detect any flavor of the foods she eats. Is this a sympton of an illness?

hello and thanks for the concern igg 600 was a test i was told measured immunoglobulins 680 to 1445 was the scale crp was refering to c reactive protein and ast chemistry heptic i still get a low grade fever about once a week or so but the energy is the main concern along with headaches that seem to be coming from the sinus no drainage but my voice is always deep eyes swollen in the am but i just feel something is terribly wrong they have only ran a immunoglobulin test as far as my immune except for regular blood work of course my stomach is of great concern also it has sharp pains from time to time all over no particular spot like the gallbladder from the reading i do i see i am pretty young to have acalculious gullbladder (gallbladder) problems   i also would like to no what you think about atypical cystic fibrosis getting back to the stomach it feels off no hunger i seem to go to the bathroom 10 times a day though i am not eating much i have lost about 40lbs also the stool is realy foul and ranges in color with pus and bile. i still feel like i have ulcers i have big time chest pain hard to take deep breath and ribs ache sholder blades before all of this i was very healthy no drug abuse history or alcohol except for sinus problems that were terrible fist operation 18 with polyps which is why i ask about cf thanks

HOW ABOUT ZELLINGER ELLISON SYNDROME I SAW THE SYMTOMS (symptoms) AND ALOT OF THEM MATCH SORRY FOR THE SPELLING.

I have no info on your risks but I would get an HIV test and some other immmune tests.
You need a major GI and endocrine workup alone with careful stool exams. With your weight loss you might consider an appt at a major university medical center starting with a general medical doctor who can use specialists as needed.

Were you ever given a quinolone medication for your sinus infection, such a Levaquin, Cipro, Floxin or any of the ones listed on http://www.geocities.com/quinolones/  ?

Please try to remember, even though it was 10 months ago. I was just given Levaquin one month ago and am experiencing horrendous things happening all over my body. I was also otherwise perfectly healthy! My body temp has changed to 99.5, now, and my blood pressure went up immediately following the pill.

All these quinolone pills so commonly given out for bacterial infections can cause life long disabilities in thousands upon thousands of people. Even Oprah did a show on it!

hello i still am having problems i have had many lymph nodes swell now for 2 months they were looked at negative tissue sample had upper gi normal this time they are testing me for cf genotype my sweat test was in the gray
