I've just found that I have varicoseVaricocele Varicose vein therapy Varicose vein treatment Varicose veins veins on my leg, I'm not sure when they realy came, but I'm only 24yo male, most the things I've found say they are more likley in girls and mainly in older people... could it be a symptom of something else?

It is true that varicose veins occur more commonly in elderly women but it can occur in men also.
Treatment of varicose veins include conservative treatment and interventional treatment.Conservative treatment includes leg elevation while sleeping,wearing compression stockings and anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen or aspirin.Interventional treatment includes sclerotherapy,laser ablation and surgery.
