visual problems associated with ms other then optic neuritis?

I went to the opthamologist who said my optic nerves are healthy and there is no signs of optic neuritis or any signs that i had it in the past..he aid that sometimes it can clear up on its own and leave no trace...

I still have vision problems: floaters, streaking of vision, after-images, visual distortions upon waking from a deep sleep, one pupil large than the other.

i have read that there could be brain stem problems with ms that can cause double vision...i was wondering if anyone knew if it could also cause  the problems ive mentioned above.

i had mris and sppinal tap that were normal..however that was 15 years ago...i think i have ms because of my symptoms over the past 18 years...bladder problems, visoin problems, numbness in toe, some loss of sensation in knee cap, tingling, burning, pricking sensations, night sweats, hands falling asleep at night, also in the cold toes and fingers get numb more quickly than the average person.

I also have read that spinal tap may not show in early stages or in mild ms...where does this leave someone when there are no lesions on mris and nothing on spinal tap, but still symptoms?
i know i should get another mri but i will not go on the meds available because they can be toxic, and if i do have ms, it is very mild.

also i read ms can affect the autonomic system and that can include sweating, pupil dialtion among other things.. i am diagnosing myself, but seems pretty obvious to me that i do have ms....

Please help with your opinions,,,thanks.

Any opinions will be most helpful, thanks.

Your best bet is to see a neurologist for new tests. First of all the old ones were a long time ago, and second, technology is constantly improving. Have the old results compared with the new ones. If it is not MS, maybe you can get some other tests like an autoimmune panel to narrow it down.
