Left heart ventricular angiography or neurologic diseases. A holter monitor or event monitor, as well as an echocardiogram can rule out many of the cardiac causes.
Neurological issues can be worked up with imaging studies like a CT scan or MRI. If seizures are suspected, an EEG would have to be done.
