I often get migraines and I rarely have the pain.  I lose sight in one or both eyes and have a tingling feeling on the side of my head down my neck, sometimes all the way down my arm.  It usually goes away after a few minutes but has lasted up to 3 hours.  It started when I was pregnant the first time and has occurred regularly since.  The doctors are sure it is migraines but don't know why my symptoms are so different.

I second what pum said.  I have had migraines for 8 years now, I get these same feelings.  Right before I get hit with a migraine, I will get a goosebump feeling, but just in my head, on the left side, same side as the migraine.  My jaw will hurt sometimes, and also my ear inside.  Hyperventilation will cause these.  When this all started 8 years ago, one evening I was washing dishes, and started seeing black spots on everything, I paniced so bad, because this never happened before, I thought I was having a stroke.  My left side of my face and arm went numb, because I hyperventilated.  As soon as I calmed down, the feeling came back.  Do you get migraines at all?  Sometimes you can have these feelings and never get the true head pain thats associated with it.  Hope you feel better!!!!

Could be migraine but also could be hyperventilating.

Good luck.
