what is this feeling i have?

For the last 3 weeks I have been getting a feeling on the left side of my head ( travels from the top of my head, left side,  down towards my temple) and it feels like it is the begining of pins and needles, (like something creeping down my head, but inside my head).  It usually only lasts for 30 seconds to 1 minute and the left side of my head goes sort of numb and then a creeping feeling happens.  It has been happening everyday now, atleast 10-15 times per day.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
As Surgimenopause says, these could be transient ischemic attacks. It could also be due to high blood pressure. Temporal arteitis is another possibility. Please consult a doctor ASAP to know what the cause is. TIAs can be dangerous.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

It may be transient ischemic attacks called TIAs or mini-strokes that you are experiencing.  You should go into the ER.  If they determine that it what the problem is, you will need to get on a medical regime that will try to prevent you from having a full blown stroke.  They will want to make sure your blood pressure is under control, your lipid panel is normal and that you are taking anticoagulant medication, such as plavix.
