what is this....can anyone tell me?

So long story...i was getting constipated often, and been having this pain for a year, happens off and on and about 2 to 3 times a week.  It starts with burning, then gas pressure so severe in my lower left stomach to the low center that I'm doubled over in pain.I always have to go poop when this happens and I feel better after. Been tested for celiac,  negative.  Had a thyroid test and some test that detects ulcerative colitis, negative.  Had a colonoscopy,  all normal except for a few diverticuli, but not a lot. So I am trying dairy free.  I have been doing better but still have had a few instances of pain this week. It had been since last Friday.  I was thinking casein intolerance but now im just confused. Doctors say its ibs. But don't know.  Can anyone tell me what they think it is?

You could do a very strict elimination diet, doing a complete dairy
elimination and following this you  ALSO eliminate wheat .
Beware of all the food and cosmetic products which contain
gluten and  is disguised and not listed as an ingredient!
These two groups are the largest "offenders".
Please note that the effects of gluten may still affect one, many weeks after the elimination!
Another possibility to look out for is regarding  Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitive  patients who do not respond to a gluten free diet, due to cross reactions to other foods.
For details you can visit Cyrex labs website.
Best wishes

You say nothing about you gall bladder which is strange. Small gall stones would be my first thought.

That is because I had my gall bladder removed 9 years ago. Anything else you can think of. And how would those hurt my lower left until I have a bowel movement?
