whats wrong with my hips? im only 17

Hi there, i started noticing problems with my hips when i was 14, it hurt if i walked far, my mum finally listen to me and took me to the doctors who told me i had HMS. i went to physio to improve my posture and walk so i didnt wiggle my hips as much. i had to stop due to the money but i kept on doing the exercises i was shown, and my walking improved atlot. Now at 17 i dont have to walk as far for the pain to start, usually under a mile. I can wake up with sore hips if i sleep on my side, and there have even started to be a problem in sex as they get sore and click.
I am going to go to the doctor when i can get the time off work,but in the mean time if anyone has ANY idea what is wrong, just to give me an idea what im up against or if it is just normal discomfort please reply. My mum is only 53 and has had knee replacements due to arthuritus and my dad has it in his knee to. im terrified it could be this??
