why am i so swollen all the time

I have bi polar and was on medication for it. i was in the hospital in May of 2010 getting my medication regulated i was fine the following month June I started swelling bad my stomach legs everywhere I have never been a person that had a weight promblem my dr ordered some tests and couldnt find anything I since then took my self off the medication and i can't seem to loose the weight my legs feel tight swollen along with the rest of my body my husband bought me a tread mill and i have been running 2 miles a day and can't seem to loose any weight

Hmmm. I am sorry. I wish I could venture a guess. Hopefully you will get some help here from someone that has experienced this. Hang on to hope though!

i took myself off the meds over 2 months ago

How long have you been off the medication? Some meds stay in the system for up to 8 weeks.
