Stress and anxiety can cause a lot of different things regarding our muscles and nervous system. If it happens eventually try to see what factors can be causing it, work, bad sleeping, caffeine (as in excess of coffee or green tea), even fear... If it has happened without stopping at all, you might want to go to a neurologist like someone mentioned before, it might be parkinsons disease, there are diff types. The sooner the better, cause it would be easier to treat. Good luck.
i dont want to scare you but depending on her age, it could be early signs of parkinsons disease. Its not very likely, and stress could be a big factor.Perhaps before you two seek medical advice you could just ask her how she is feeling to make sure there are no other symptoms...
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Shaky hands can be due to stress and anxiety, too much consumption of caffeine or alcohol, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), autoimmune disease like multiple sclerosis, thyroid disorders, nerve compression in the spinal area, and liver disease. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Hope this helps. Take care!
