But the other daytheyfeel like they have got a bit bigger and one of them feels bruised to touch i also felt thatmygland underneath my arm is a little swallon. Ive had a bit of a sore back and just feel very tired alot of the time, could this be just due to havin low iron or do u think it may be something else. The reason I wrote "The lumps at the back of your ear may be boils or cysts".   Note that I wrote "may", is because I have experienced a similar thing in the past more than once.

Of course, only a doctor can give a more accurate diagnosis once the patient has been examined.

Because the lumps in armpits are also swollen that I wrote "They may also be connected to the swollen glands in your armpit."

Swollen glands can be due to viral or bacterial infections, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but also by other conditions, hence writing "it is still a good idea to get it checked out."

How did you get on at the doctors today?

I do hope that the doc has taken blood tests to check re the swollen gland problem and has either put you on iron medication or offered another remedy to correct your low iron levels.

The dizziness may be a combination from the swollen gland problem and the low iron levels.  Very low iron levels will make you feel dizzy and sometimes you may see black or white blobs floating about that you want to catch.  This is because your blood is low on red corpuscles that carry oxygen around your body.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

It isd not reasonable to suggest that the lums are either cysts or boils.  They may or may not be, however a physician is needed for an in-person eval;uation.

I am somewhat concerned about the swelling of the glands under your arm and the dizziness.

Post as to what the doctor said..

The lumps at the back of your ear may be boils or cysts.
They may also be connected to the swollen glands in your armpit.
This may be a viral or bacterial infection.  But it is still a good idea to get it checked out.

As your iron levels are low, your doctor should run tests to find out if this is related to lack of iron in your diet and not caused for other reasons. It will also depend on how low your iron levels are, whether you may require a transfusion.  You may also be lacking in Vitamin B12 and folic acid.

Your doctor would prescribe you with iron medication to take as directed.  In the meantime, each a healthy and well balanced diet and foods that are rich in iron.  Liver is rich in iron, egg yolks and green cabbage and spinach.  You can find more information of foods containing iron on the web.
