The spider bite my son in law got about 7/8 days ago was treated in ER and has not had any decaying skin around the site. He is now complaining about his thigh muscle ( spider bite was on the back side of his thigh) the muscle is very stiff and feels like a ice pick is being pushed into it. The pain is also radiating to his knee and feels like it is in a vice. He needs to know if this is a normal side effect from the bite or if he needs to go to his doctor and be seen for it. He took antibiotics, the normal dosage an ER doctor would give. It did abscess but seems to have gone down a bit, but is now just a big red bump. Please advise ASAP
