my husband has tremors

by Judea , Oct 02, 2007 10:07AM
My soon to be husband is a pro boxing and is suffering from a bad case of tremors in his neck, and head. It started around May of 2006 and we haven't been able to find a doctor that can help us threw this process. Sometimes he complains about his neck and his back hurting after he trains or after laying down for a long time. We've tried about ten different doctors and no one seems to know what to do or who to talk to. With all that is going on I'm starting to worry, is boxing a safe sport to do while having tremors or is it possible that it could be making the problem worse? Please help us find a doctor to help us stop the termors...

Boxing could certainly be making the situation worse.  He could be suffering from some nerve damage which is common in boxing.  Personally I think he should have a break from actual fighting but continue to train on a less competitive basis.  He may benefit from some St Johns Wort but do check it out on the internet to make sure he's not allergic to it or it doesn't conflict with any medication he's taking.  St Johns Wort is very good at healing nerve damage amongst many of it's uses.  Best of luck.
