pneumonia & rash

by michele712, Feb 14, 2007 12:00AM
My 4 yr. old had a strange, itchy rash on her lower extremities and hands 12 days ago.  It went away and came back the next morning.  She was diagnosed with bronchitis, and also the rash was thought to be caused by mycoplasm, she was put on zithromax.  4 days later the cough became more severe.  Her pulse ox at that time was 88%.  CXR showed pneumonia in left lower & middle lobe.  Antibiotic was changed to amoxicillin.  Cough was minimal and non-productive.  Seemed to be improving, then this morning the rash returned.  Any help?
