shingles

Hi there, was diagnosed today with a case of shingles, a mild one in a small patch on my back. Thing is 4 weeks ago i had protected sex 5 times over a weekend with 3 different partners. I always wore a condom and washed down there after too. Apart from this i have not been a bold boy but can't help thinking i may have caught HIV, am i being paranoid? am 27 years old and have a very stressful job, maybe that set off the shingles? otherwise i feel fine and have done since my mis-behaviour. Thanks a lot, Niall.

Shingles is a reactivation of the virus which causes chicken pox.   Stress or fatigue can cause the virus to reactive causing the condition that you experienced.  It is not a sexually transmitted disease. (STD)
