Can UTI cause back spasms?

I was recently dx with a possible UTI and on antibiotics for 5 days. Still having pain in the bladder, flu-like symptoms and today back spasms on the side that was sore on exam. There was also a sharp pain today up under the rib cage on that side, but it felt too high for a kidney. UA last week was borderline for UTI. Also was dx with interstitial cystitis last year.

Nevermind. I found out the answer. In case anyone else has this question in the future, the answer is "yes."
