Bladder Causes Ruptured Ovarian Cyst?

by Hoofs, Sep 24, 2008 07:31PM
I had a nudging sensation so to say on the lower left side of my abdomen. At first it was annoying, but then I ended up grabbing my side because it became more bothersome. I thought maybe it was a strong stitch on my side. Anyway, I needed to run an errand, but decided to go to the bathroom even though I didn't have the urge, because the restrooms where I had to run my errand are nasty. When I tried to go to the bathroom, I felt this sudden, intense pain in my lower abdomen. It was so intense that not only did I grab my lower abdomen, I stood up of the toilet seat!! I couldn't move because if I did, the pain would intensify. I also felt a little bit nauseous a few minutes later. The nausea was short lived because it disappeared within a minute or so. I have also felt like I have had a water balloon in my lower abdomen . I have an appointment, but it's not for another two and a half weeks. A couple of my friends think that I might have ruptured an ovarian cyst when trying to go to the bathroom. Another thinks I passed a kidney stone. Does any of this sound like a ruptured ovarian cyst? Also, what happens after a cyst ruptures? Where does the fluid go?
