Bladder post pregnancy

It feels like I can't fully empty my bladder. I urinate just fine but after it feels like there is just a little bit left. I also get these sharp pains in my bladder area but not while using the bathroom. Just had baby 10 days ago.

It is not uncommon to have some leaking and feelings of not emptying well after delivery. If you are having any urgency or frequency, a urine analysis is needed. Your symptoms should improve over the next several weeks. If you feel like you are retaining a significant amount of urine I would suggest you see your doctor as soon as possible. Dr. Mathews
